Tighter Lid on Records Threatens to Weaken Government Watchdogs

While President Obama has boasted of running “the most transparent administration in history,” some watchdogs say the clampdown has scaled back scrutiny of government programs.

Sascha W is believed to have sold the Paris attackers two Chinese-made Kalashnikovs and two Serbian Zasatava assault rifles on November 7, six days before the Paris attacks, according to Bild.
He is suspected of running an illegal arms business and selling guns over the so-called “dark web”, part of the internetthat is not indexed by search engines.
The four assault rifles were ordered over a “dark net”, part of the dark web that is accessible only with specialised software, by a buyer of “Arab descent”.

Former and serving diplomats and intelligence officials tell the Telegraph that President Obama's hopes of defeating Islamic State are based on "smoke and mirrors"...

“Who is in charge?” Mr Harvey said. “Where is the intelligence community? It is totally broken on this.”
Two active intelligence sources told the Telegraph that there was a sense of disarray inside the various intelligence agencies.
Полиция арестовала в Магштадте мужчину по подозрению в продаже четырех автоматов Калашникова участникам терактов в Париже. По данным следствия, подозреваемый переделывал легальные пневматические пистолеты в боевые, которые затем продавал в интернете.
