Israel Ziv is accused by the US of selling both the government of South Sudan and the opposition $150m worth of weapons and ammunition, including rifles, grenade launchers and shoulder-fired rockets.  Ziv responded that he was “surprised and astonished” at the charges and said the accusations are “baseless:” He is accused of using agricultural and housing projects for the government of South Sudan as cover for those sales.
