What is going on now, and I do not know, how much of this is the hard reality, and to what degree it is my subjective impression, is a sheer madness. Apparently, the Obama years, for a variety of reasons, were very detrimental to this relationship. This is absolutely unacceptable, intolerable, and strategically schizophrenic and dangerous and harmful to both sides. Everything possible and impossible has to be done to restore them.
