The video, highlighted by blogger SooperMexican, gives a first-person perspective of an assault on Bullpen, a bar near Orioles Park, which Breitbart News’s Matthew Boyle also reported on Saturday evening. A new detail seen at this angle shows that the mob’s victims include a woman in a motorized wheelchair (first appearing at 1:04).

Another bar patron stands in front of the woman to shield her from the barrage of refuse thrown by the mob. Among the biggest objects thrown are half-full trash cans and Red Bull-branded patio tables.

Boyle’s account of the fracas captures the intensity of the violence against random bystanders with no ties to the police or the death of Freddie Gray, the purported reasons for the protest gone violent:

All of a sudden, beer bottles and cans, and other projectiles were lobbed by the protesters into the crowds of fans. To get those projectiles, the protesters stole them forcibly from the bartenders and vendors set up outside each of those three bars. One beer can whizzed by my brother’s face, missing him by about six inches, and more flew all over the crowded area.

The crowd of protesters then stopped a blue station wagon carrying a white family as they tried to drive past Pickles, Bullpen and Sliders along a narrow one-way stretch between the bars and the main road. As a horde of them smashed their open and closed fists on the hood of the car—while impeding them by standing in front of them—the driver backed up on the one way pass in a desperate attempt to get out of dodge. Then, stopped on the other side with nowhere to go, protesters ripped open the passenger door of the car and began reaching around inside the vehicle. As hundreds of people looked on, including several police officers who didn’t engage the violent protesters, the white woman in the front seat—middle-aged and a little heavyset with dark hair—was visibly terrified. The group of black men who ripped open the car door suddenly realized they were separated from the larger group of protesters and abandoned their quest to seemingly either carjack the station wagon or rob the people inside in front of hundreds, driving out of the one-way street back onto the main road and presumably out of dodge.

Boyle reports that the Mayor of Baltimore temporarily ordered a lockdown of Orioles Stadium during the baseball game, keeping the audience inside until conditions became more safe. The lockdown was lifted at the top of the game’s tenth inning.

BALTIMORE, April 27 (Reuters) - Seven Baltimore police officers were injured on Monday as rioters threw bricks, broke windows, looted businesses and burned patrol cars in violent protests following the funeral of a black man who died after he was injured in police custody.

The riots broke out just a few blocks from the site of the funeral of 25-year-old Freddie Gray in northwest Baltimore and then spread through other parts of the city in the most violent demonstrations since looting in Ferguson, Missouri, last year.

Television images showed mobs of rioters jumping on top of a police car, destroying a taxi and setting two other patrol cars on fire after teenaged crowds ignored calls to disperse and clashed with lines of hundreds of police. Gangs had threatened to target police officers, local law enforcement said.

Gray's death on April 19 reignited a public outcry over police treatment of African Americans that flared last year after the killings of unarmed black men in Ferguson, New York City and elsewhere.

Schools, businesses and train stations closed in Baltimore, a city of 662,000 people 40 miles (64 km) from the nation's capital.

A string of deadly confrontations between mostly white police and black men, and the violence it has prompted, will be among the challenges facing U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch, who was sworn in on Monday. CNN reported that Lynch was discussing Baltimore at the White House.

Following her swearing in, Lynch signaled that improving relations between police and the communities they protect will be high on her agenda.

"We can restore trust and faith both in our laws and in those of us who enforce them," she said.

Police initially showed restraint on Monday, but then began arresting people and prepared to use teargas and pepper spray.

"It is disappointing just a few hours after putting Gray to rest," Reverend Jamal Bryant who spoke at the funeral told reporters. "This is not what the family asked for today of all days. This was a day of sacred closure."

Gray's family, pastors and city officials had pleaded for peaceful demonstrations.

BALTIMORE A TROUBLED CITY

Baltimore Police Captain Eric Kowalczyk said at a briefing that one of the injured police officers was unresponsive and several had broken bones.

Earlier, police urged officers to take steps to ensure their safety after they reported receiving a "credible threat" that several gangs were planning to try to "take out" law enforcement officers.

The largely black city has long struggled with high crime and gangs, a reputation that has made it the setting for gritty television police dramas such as "The Wire." Last year officials adopted one of the strictest youth curfews in the United States in an effort to tackle its crime problems.

At the funeral, speaker after speaker before the crowd packing the 2,500-seat New Shiloh Baptist Church said the world was watching to see if justice would be done for Gray.

Before the service, Gray's body, clad in a white shirt, black tie and dark pants, lay in an open white coffin in front of the altar as mourners passed by. The coffin was closed during the service.

Gray was arrested on April 12 when he fled from police in a high-crime area. He was carrying a switchblade knife, and he was put inside a transport van to be taken to a police station.

At some point, Gray suffered the spinal injury that led to his death a week later. City Police Commissioner Anthony Batts said on Friday that officers failed to belt him into his seat securely and to give him timely medical attention.

Police have said they would conclude their investigation by Friday and forward the results to state prosecutors. Six officers have been suspended, and the U.S. Justice Department is investigating the incident for possible civil rights violations.

National Black Panther Chairman Malik Zulu Shabazz gave chilling remarks on Black Panther Radio Saturday detailing the nature and business of a secretive meeting between himself, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Minister Louis Farrakhan and ‘fifty’ Imams. The meeting, according to Shabazz, took place on September 27, 2010 in New York, NY during the Iranian president’s controversial visit to the UN. The details of the meeting have never been publicly revealed, but in new audio uncovered by The Blaze this week, Shabazz details the nature of this monsters’ ball and the scary, ‘Beast’ axis that was formed durring the meeting:

Theses new alliances cast a dark shadow in the wake of alarming recent developments from those parties involved. As The Blaze has exclusively reported, Minister Farrakhan has warned whites lately that “their end has come” and has encouraged President Obama to convert to Islam. The New Black Panthers have been fomenting racial hatred in recent weeks, threatening to hang whites andpromising hostility after the presidential election. Ahmadinejad is getting close to becoming capableof nuclear warfare, and regularly calls for the destruction of Israel and America. All three are linked by their sharp opposition to western society and their deep Islamist roots, a connection not to be taken lightly given the rise of radical Islam throughout the Arab world.

– “I spoke strong in that meeting. There [were] fifty Imams in the meeting; I’m the only representative of a secular, or a non-religious organization. I’m sitting all the way nearly in the, at the big table in the back with these translator headphones on and everything, and Minister Farrakhan is sitting in the first seat in the front.”

– “You know, there is no greater enemy than the white man. You know, uh, again we have to learn because it’s just as many Arabs who hate this white man as we do. So, am I not to ally myself, alliance myself with this Arab in fighting this white man?“

Loretta Lynch 'monitoring situation in Baltimore

Washington (CNN)Newly sworn-in Attorney General Loretta Lynch is meeting with President Barack Obama to discuss the riots unfolding in Baltimore, an administration source said Monday.

The White House meeting was not called specifically as a result of the situation in Baltimore.

The growing violence in Baltimore, just 40 miles from the White House, represents another challenge for the Obama administration in addressing racial unrest across the country. Since the police killing of an unarmed teenager in Ferguson, Missouri, last summer, the administration has worked to acknowledge deep frustrations in minority communities while also supporting law enforcement.

Obama, the nation's first African-American president, has spoken in personal terms about police harassment. So far, he hasn't spoken about the unrest in Baltimore, but White House officials say they're considering releasing a statement to address the situation.

The violence in Baltimore comes on the same day as the funeral for Gray, who died in police custody under circumstances that remain unclear.

The situation presents an immediate challenge for Lynch, who was sworn in on Monday after a five-month confirmation battle in the Senate. Her strong relationship with law enforcement was touted as a key qualification for the attorney general job.

The White House sent three representatives to Baltimore on Monday for Gray's funeral: Broderick Johnson, a native of the city and the chairman of the My Brother's Keeper Task Force; Heather Foster, an adviser in the White House Office of Public Engagement; and Elias Alcantara, the associate director of the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs.

Broderick and Foster also attended the funeral of Michael Brown, the unarmed 18-year-old who was shot and killed by a Ferguson, Missouri, police officer last August.

During his tenure as attorney general, Eric Holder spearheaded a federal effort to crack down on police departments that show a pattern of racial bias, and considered bringing federal charges in the Brown shooting. He visited Ferguson immediately after intense protests there began and said his presence helped calm the situation.

His Justice Department also sent community relations officials to Baltimore in an effort to improve communications between the community and law enforcement there.

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan's office said the recently elected Republican has not activated the state's National Guard, but is monitoring events in Baltimore and expected to have a statement later Monday night.

Maryland State Police have ordered an additional 40 troopers to Baltimore and will be deploying Monday evening to join the 42 troopers already assisting city police.

Baltimore police said seven officers have suffered serious injuries in the clashes on the city's streets, including broken bones, and one is unconscious.

At one point, police officers in riot gear took cover behind an armored vehicle as protesters pelted them with rocks. Officers appeared to use tear gas on the protesters.

Baltimore police said there is a "credible threat" that local gangs are planning to team up in an effort to "take out" law enforcement officers.

Television images showed looting and a mob of rioters jumping on the top of a police car, after teenaged crowds ignored calls to disperse and clashed with a line of hundreds of police.

Gray’s death reignited a public outcry over police treatment of African Americans that flared last year after the killings of unarmed black men in Ferguson, Missouri, New York City and elsewhere.

The rioting in Baltimore was the most violent since the demonstrations in Ferguson last year.

Baltimore Police Captain Eric Kowalczyk said at a police briefing that one of the injured police officers was unresponsive and several had broken bones.

Kowalczyk said police, who initially tried to use restraint, would begin making arrests and using tear gas and pepper pellets to break up crowds.

Gray’s family, pastors and city officials had pleaded for peaceful demonstrations after some arrests and injuries at protests over the weekend.

Baltimore Cops Injured in Clash With Hundreds of Protesters

A gathering of hundreds of protesters near a Baltimore mall turned violent today when some of them hurled various objects at cops, with several officers injured in the clash, including one whose condition police described as "unresponsive."

The standoff occurred at Mondawmin Mall in the northwest part of the city, the Baltimore Police Department said on Twitter, as the group threw bricks, rocks and other objects at officers.

Protesters were seen climbing on a police cruiser and damaging several others. Police tweeted that people were also looting businesses and setting cars on fire.

Police Capt. Eric Kowalczyk declined to speculate at a news conference on the reason for the violence, but called the group "criminals."

"Right now it is a group of lawless individuals with no regard" for safety, he said.

Kowalczyk said seven officers were injured, many with broken bones.

"Several people in the group are reported to be armed with sticks, bricks, and other weapons," the police wrote on Twitter. "We are hearing reports that members of this group are now setting small items on fire."

The police department described the group as "violent and aggressive."

Police said they used fire extinguishers to put out the small fires.

"The crowd is not obeying our dispersal orders," the police wrote on Twitter, adding that the department is "continuing to deploy resources."

The violent groups include a "large number of juveniles," police said, adding that they urge parents to bring their children home.

Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake activated Baltimore's emergency operations center to coordinate response in the city.

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan has been briefed on the situation, according to press secretary Shareese DeLeaver Churchill. Hogan has not declared a state of emergency.

The clash comes hours after the funeral of 25-year-old Freddie Gray, the man who died last week after being in police custody. Police are investigation that incident.

Baltimore police said today there is a credible threat against law enforcement officers, as members from gangs including the Bloods, Crips and Black Guerilla Family "have entered into a partnership to 'take-out' law enforcement officers," according to a news release.

Gray's funeral was not explicitly mentioned in the announcement of the credible threat, but the threat was revealed minutes before the funeral service was set to begin.

Today's clash at the mall follows a volatile weekend in Baltimore. Protests that started off peacefully Saturday turned violent by afternoon in downtown Baltimore. Protests were also held during Gray's wake Sunday.
